Super cute but still a little complex for your independent readers who need that extra something after picture books. The book is filled will cute short stories that kind of tie in to each other but are still random enough to be read, put down, and the come back to. Great for traveling or for times when they have 15 minutes before the food comes at a restaurant (or at home). A kid playing detective and also writing comic books is always a great premise, but when that kid is a cat, it’s just goes to full on reread awesomeness. Fans of Dogman or Diary of a Wimpy Kid will love the smarts and silliness.
