One of the first books that she took on for independent reading and kept going back to. Such a great adventure series for girls to see that they can define what a princess is and for boys to see that girls don’t have to fit into tidy little box. So creative. Shannon Hale is a master story teller. You’ll meet her later when you read her “Friends” series for 9-11.
