Her mom is a fairy. Her dad is a Vampire. She is constantly feeling the push of each and tries to figure out how to use magic or whatever it is that Vampires can do while trying to fit in the real world. This was our favorite self reader and a perfect bridge book for kids feeling a bit older. These are UK books and have not really hit in the US- we discovered her at Indigo Bookstore and now our shelves are full. Cute size as well. These still get read at 10 and have not gone up to the attic yet. A must read for kids around 7 or so.
