Middle school drama but with animals. Babymouse is the unrelenting spirit animal we all need to get through our day. Mean kids. Fun kids. Embarrassment. Whiskers that just don't stay down. Awesome independent reader and there are so many of them. Same writer and artist as the Sunny Series. Small physical books that fit perfectly into little hands that are searching for something of their own to hold. These are still being read today at age 10. Epic!
