Each page of this book belongs in a museum. What an incredible story that takes us deep into the inner mind of a kid questioning what they like, who they are, and how they can express themselves in a world that asks them to be one way or another. There is no preaching in this book about what to do, it simply pulls back the curtain of what being non-binary truly means and explains it in a way that is both entertaining and enlightening. What other art form could achieve this delicate balance other than an graphic novel? This book should be required reading for anyone about to enter middle school so their compassion and understanding abilities are functioning at a high level. Just wonderful.
