UK based hidden gem that will leave your kids nodding and laughing with the inner-workings of a middle school girl’s mind as she ages up and deals with family, crushes, friends, and a family that she loves but sometimes drives her crazy. Think Diary of a Wimpy Kid but more mature, because, you know, girls are miles (kilometers) ahead of boys. Wonderful chapter book to read if your kids are struggling with longer forms because it breaks the paragraphs into digestible chunks with cute pics and diagrams. Great reading confidence builder because each book in the series is so addictive and will have them wanting to finish reading. Boys should read it. Dads, you should read this and then talk about it with your daughter if you want to connect. Can't believe the U.S. is behind in catching up. Lottie is the greatest. “Fries before guys” forever.
