Destruction. Danger. Political upheaval. All of it's entertaining to your kids. Why is this series so great? There is no sugar coating and it's all incredibly researched in both the chapter book and graphic novel form. These are wonderful reads to get your kids reading chapter books. Action right from the jump. I read them all and was able to have incredible history-based talks with my daughter after each one. These should be in all classrooms and available to kids starting around 3rd grade. They can handle it. Writing is wonderful and the action non-stop. You can choose between the graphic novel or chapter book version. Both amazing and page turning.
