This book talks through all phases of puberty, growth, changes, and so many questions that might be floating around in their minds but does so in a way that makes it interesting and not preachy (and not from you!). We gave these to her at 8 and she kept coming back to them at 9 and 10. Super honest and sets her up to take away any taboo that might be associated with changing bodies. Dad’s, you can read just so you know. This series from American Doll has nothing to do with dolls but the name is a good way to get them to at least open the book. Once inside, they won’t be able to put it down. Great independent reader about things that matter to them - their bodies!
