A perfect independent reader that kids can age into. Long before Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Amelia was putting down her life/school/home journey into amazing reads with fun pictures and drawings that told the real inner-thoughts of a 5th grade girl and continued all the way through middle school. While books with a lot of text are usually intimidating, these books were really accessible and helped up our daughter’s reading game beyond her current level. It’s ok to have them read things a little advanced. Very real and special stories inside each of these books that will have your kids binge reading and coming back to each of them as they grow. A remarkable series and scope of work.
