This book opened up a new love of long-form narratives for us. Filled with multi-layered stories and characters, Temple Alley Summer filled our daughter’s need for a more complex storyline. There are books inside of books and secrets revealed on each page, so your kids will keep turning while they chase that amazing feeling of being surprised by a book. Set in Japan and originally written in Japanese, this book, along with all the spirits that come along for the ride, will thrill your kids 10+. The text is airy and the font not so dense, allowing your kids to let go some of their apprehension for reading novels.
