Time traveling through multiple generations and through family trauma all while entertaining the reader and making them laugh along the way is not an easy thing to do for a book, but Age 16 is not an ordinary read. Dealing with body image and what it means to find your crowd sometimes can feel preachy, but this graphic novels does it in a way that sucks you into this world and doesn’t let you go until the last page is turned. And you wouldn’t want to be. Rosena Fung knows how to tell a story and use every inch of the graphic novel to build her world. Incredible in every way.
