If your kids are into kawaii style manga that has no violence or romance, please step on over to the world of Pocket Peaches for your independent reading pleasure. The colors are so soft an inviting and the dialogue inside these little graphic novels are easy to digest but still complicated enough to make an engaging story. Best part? They will love to finish these, which is a great confidence boost when it comes to developing a love of reading. Also, the cuteness overload is too much to handle! My daughter started reading these at 7 and still picks them up to relax at 10. Cuteness overload with substance.
