This was one the books that moved us from us reading to our daughter, to her reading independently. Big fonts, a super immersive, fun world that kids want to live in, and small chapters that give them the confidence they can finish longer narratives. The book is filled with magic and adventure but the stories are all relatable to what your kids are either dreaming about or going through when they play. The books fit right in their tiny hands but still feel like it’s a bit more grown-up than the picture books that are slowly fading to only bedtime reads. Fun and affordable series to collect that they can come back to as they move all the way through 6-8.
