Perfect for kids who don’t want to read about drama but are ok with tenderness, love, and finding yourself when everything is constantly shifting. This book was very different from so many middle school books that focus on crushes and mean kids. Lots of heart and explorations over a year of getting to know one’s self and family all over again. This one grabs the heart and stays there with echoes of what you just read. Beautiful.
