This one’s not just another drama of middle school graphic novel, though there is a ton of drama in middle school packed into this. Love the way this book deals with identity, fitting in, and what it means to fight back when you’re the only one who’s standing up to fight. For anyone who never had the right clothes or had a parent who drove the right car, there is a ton to identify with here. Wonderful book for kids who like stories of tight friends and finding humor in situations that might seem frightening. This one’s a hidden gem we discovered at the library and kept in our rotation. Emotional and funny and action packed.
