This is more for the 6 and 7 year-olds who need something simple but still totally goofy to start reading on their own. We started reading to her when she was 5 and then she was able to read to us when she turned 6. So fun and not too kids-y. Funny but one level up from the slapstick of picture books. Don’t hesitate to add these. Spine benders. If you like this one, it’s worth getting the compilation books.
